Well.
Back from vacation; rested, relaxed, semi-tanned, full of stories about female vocalists.
Therefore, it makes perfect sense to put this thing on hold once again.
The short of it is this- While I was on the coast, I had visions of catching up on my drawing and gettting some more pages done.
Really, I just wanted to start to put things in order and enjoy something that I seem to end up having less and less time for lately.
And on coming home, do I have sketchbooks crammed to bursting with images and brilliant layouts?
No.
I have a picture of a bicycle.
period.
I think that pretty much speaks for itself as to why "hiatus" is in big letters along the side. That's pretty damned pathetic as far as page counts go.
So, what now? Is it over? All she wrote? The last hurrah?
No.
I've got a move to a very large city and a brand new college coming up ( Not to mention I'm headed for Honolulu in a short time). Of course I'm going to want nameless faces to gripe to when my roomate BAD LOGIC IS FUNmakes fun of my Sarah Mclachlan CDs eats the last of the ramen.
The plan is to close up shop here for a bit, until roughly late july/early august (I will definitely have something by August 19th, if not sooner). At that point, I will probably be posting a link to a new address for something a lot closer to what I originally had in mind when I started doing this. More artwork, more writing..
It'll just be better, I think.
If not, I'll just keep plugging away here.
Either way, summer is a good place to be.
